Overview

Homeschooling in Minnesota is governed by Minnesota Statutes section 120A.24. Minnesota has a notable teacher qualification requirement — the teaching parent must hold a baccalaureate degree or arrange for a licensed Minnesota teacher to assess the child annually. This requirement catches some families off guard so check your eligibility before beginning.
